Andanar balik private media ‘pag nagpalit na ng administrasyon
Tiniyak ni Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Secretary Martin Andanar na magbabalik siya sa private media kapag bumaba na sa puwesto si Pangulong Rodrigo Roa Duterte sa Hunyo 2022.
Sa isang panayam, sinabi ni Andanar na hindi siya tatakbo sa kahit na anumang posisyon para sa halalan sa susunod na taon dahil ang kanyang commitment ay i-promote ang mga legacy ng Chief Executive hanggang sa matapos ang termino nito.
Si Andanar, kasama sa paunang Senate slate ng ruling party Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan, ay nagpahayag na mananatiling magbibigay ang kanyang tanggapan ng impormasyon sa publiko ukol sa accomplishments ng administrasyon.
“I entered this job as a technocrat, meaning an expert in media that will fix the government media. And that’s what I did. And we will exit again as a technocrat,” anito.
Ang Duterte Legacy campaign, ay naglalayong ipaalam sa mamamayang filipino ang mga naging accomplishments ng pamahalaan, at maging ang mga serbisyo nito sa pamamagitan ng “collective efforts” ng iba’t ibang ahensiya at instrumentalities.
“This is a campaign to report all of the achievements of President Duterte for his entire term,” ani Andanar.
Matapos aniya ang termino ng Pangulo, kumpiyansang sinabi ni Andanar na magbabalik siya bilang “wiser” private media personality dahil sa kanyan mga naging karanasan at nalaman at natutunan na isulong ang reporma sa state media.
“Yes, babalik ako sa media armed with vigor and wiser, more knowledge, experience sa pag-reform sa government and with the advocacy of sustainable communication. What is sustainable communication? It’s about being able to communicate and assist all the sustainable projects and activities of the community, the country and even the world,” aniya pa rin.
Si Andanar ay itinalaga ni Pangulong Duterte bilang PCOO chief noong 2016.
Bago pa ang kanyang appointment, nagsilbi siya bilang television news anchor, radio commentator, podcaster, video at audio blogger, at voice-over artist.
